Publication Alert: Papke Lab

Figure 1

Please help us congratulate Dr. Papke’s Lab who published a paper in Addiction Biology on August 11th. The members who worked on the paper were Clare Stokes, Jose Pino, D. Walker Hagan, Gonzalo Torres, Edward Phelps, Nicole A. Horenstein, and Roger Papke. Their data suggest that toxic elements of high molecular weight may contribute to the oral health liability of betel quid use, while two distinct low molecular weight components may provide elements of reward, and the nicotinic activity of arecoline contributes to the physical dependence of addiction.
