Dr. Nicole Chambers Receives T. Rowe Collegiality Award
Moehle Lab Postdoc, Dr. Nicole Chambers receives inaugural Postdoc T. Rowe Collegiality Award for her service to the department including her role as President of MAPK, (Mission Track Faculty and Postdoc Kickstart), a departmental organization focused on providing resources for postdocs and mission track faculty, her role on the Retreat Planning Committee, as well as other service to the department. Summer Neuroscience Intern, Flynn Cowie, Receives Second Place in Research Showcase
Flynn Cowie, a rising senior Neurobiology major at Wooster College, and a SNIP intern in the Moehle Lab for Summer 2025, wins 2nd place in the Research Showcase for short-term summer projects. Flynn was mentored by postdoc, Dr. Nicole Chambers and Dr. Mark Moehle.

Dr. Moehle Participates in 2025 Dystonia Think Tank
Dr. Moehle joins top scientists and clinicians in the field of dystonia to present data and to join a collaborative discussion. This Think Tank was organized by Rick Staab and Emily at Tyler’s Hope Foundation and by the team at the Fixel Institute.
Florida Consortium on the Neurobiology of Cognition (FCNC) 2025
Dr. Chambers attended the 2025 FCNC in Orlando Florida, where she presented data on physiological and cognitive changes in the preformed fibril mouse model.
Dr. Mark Moehle Wins 2025 UF Rising Star Award!
Dr. Mark Moehle was awarded the College of Medicine Rising Star Award at the 15th Annual UF Medical Research Celebration. He was selected for this award due to the translational value of the research being conducted in his lab and the potential for his work to lead to advancements in the treatment of Parkinson’s disease and dystonia.
