Congratulations to the Urs lab on their contribution to the recent publication titled “Computational insights into ligand-induced G protein and β-arrestin signaling of the dopamine D1 receptor”
This research provided valuable computational insights into the possible molecular mechanism of diverse signaling profiles of the D1R ligands and a potential design strategy of novel molecules. The hypotheses generated from the simulations can be evaluated experimentally and guide future development of D1R β-arrestin biased ligands as safer and more effective medications for psychiatric and neurological diseases.
