This September, the University of Florida moved up to No. 6 in public universities, according to the U.S. News & World Report in their 2021 Best Colleges rankings.
The university improved on its No. 6 spot on the list last year. It is tied with the University of California – Santa Barbara right behind the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.
UF administrators want to climb further up the list to secure a top-5 position, the Gainesville Sun reports.
