UF Ranked No. 6 in Public Universities

This September, the University of Florida moved up to No. 6 in public universities, according to the U.S. News & World Report in their 2021 Best Colleges rankings.

The university improved on its No. 6 spot on the list last year. It is tied with the University of California – Santa Barbara right behind the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.

UF administrators want to climb further up the list to secure a top-5 position, the Gainesville Sun reports.

UF is No. 6 in U.S. public universities

“By nearly every measure, UF is continuing to make gains, and I’m thankful to the elected leaders, faculty, staff and supporters of the university who have made that possible,” UF President Kent Fuchs said in a statement.
